CompuLynx honours local staff in global awards scheme

…local staffers in league of Silicon Valley peers

An international Information Technology and business solutions provider headquartered in Kenya, CompuLynx Limited has moved to honour its local outstanding staffers in a global excellence awards programme.

The staffers who excelled in different fields including software development and new business streams identification (i.e. Campus ID solutions & Biometric Payment Solutions) were honoured at a colorful ceremony marked to locally kick start the firms Vision 2012 strategy.

CompuLynx Limited- a Kenya Top 100 mid sized company-has adopted a three year business growth strategy geared at spearheading the firm’s ambitious growth plans locally and on the international market.

With a turnover topping the Kshs 400 million mark, CompuLynx, is reputed to have been Kenya’s pioneer software solutions exporter for its globally acclaimed i-SMART retail solutions product.

Speaking during the awards handover ceremony, CompuLynx Chief Executive Officer Mr Sailesh Savani expressed his gratitude to the team of local achievers describing them as equal among internal peers.

“I am extremely delighted to be associated with the CompuLynx Kenya team which has excelled to international standards and my as well be easily rivaling their peers at Silicon Valley,” Savani said.

And added: “As an international business solutions provider, CompuLynx will continue to retain and expose Kenyan talent to global challenges as they continue to confirm and claim their position amongst the world’s best.

During the ceremony, CompuLynx staffers Andrew Mungai and Kasiki Mutiso scooped the top honours alongside Mary Ondiek, Jane Wanjiru, Martin Wambua and Fred Etemesi.

Other award winners included: Brijesh Patel, Samuel John, Naheed Kasmani, Frank Omondi Chaula Ganatra and Paul Kinuthia.

Siddesh Narkar, Richard Katiwa Ngua, Shezan Chohan and Mitali Vaghela also received various awards ranging from special Recognition Award for new Revenue Stream in form of Innovative Solutions for the Retail Sector during the year 2009 and New Revenue Stream in form of Innovative Solutions for the Retail Sector during the year 2009.

Leading firms such as Nakumatt Holdings, Ukwala Supermarkets, Armed Forces Canteen Organization (AFCO), Eastmatt Supermarkets, Woolmatt Supermarkets, Innscor Africa Ltd, Barclays Bank of Kenya and Equity Bank, are powered by CompuLynx developed solutions.

Other organizations powered by CompuLynx include De la Rue, Kenyatta University, KCA University, United States International University-Africa, Moi University, Twiga Stationers, Blowplast Ltd, Hypermart Ltd, Premier Foods Ltd, Meru Mwalimu Sacco and Nyeri Farmers Sacco.
